Terms of Service
Last updated: June 5, 2026
1. Who we are
LyricTimestamps.com ("the Service") is operated by Micaiah Mackenzie("we", "us", "our"), a sole proprietor doing business as LyricTimestamps.com. By accessing or using the Service, you ("you", "user") enter into a binding agreement with us on the terms set out below.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, uploading audio, or otherwise continuing to use the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Notice and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction, and that any information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.
3. The Service
The Service generates word- and line-level timestamps for audio you upload, paired with lyrics you provide, and exports them in formats such as LRC, SRT, VTT, JSON, and CSV. Output quality depends on the recording, language, and lyrics provided and is not guaranteed to be perfect for every input.
4. Payments, billing, and subscriptions
The free tier allows up to 30 minutes of audio per account, plus a single quick test under 60 seconds without an account. The Pro plan is billed at $3.99 per month and continues until canceled. You can cancel at any time and will retain Pro access through the end of your current paid period.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
5. Your account and content
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You are solely responsible for the audio and lyrics you upload, and you represent that you have all rights, licenses, and permissions necessary to process that content through the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host and process your uploads strictly to provide the Service to you.
6. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not allow any third party to:
- use the Service in violation of any law or third-party right, including copyright;
- upload content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or infringing;
- use the Service to send spam, malware, or other harmful code;
- probe, scan, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service or its security;
- resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted;
- circumvent free-tier limits or any other technical or usage restriction.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including all software, models, designs, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Micaiah Mackenzie or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your plan. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
8. Service availability and disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that timestamps will be accurate for every input. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice if we reasonably believe you have materially breached these Terms, have not paid amounts due, present a security, fraud, or abuse risk, or have committed repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by updating the "Last updated" date or by emailing the address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in Tennessee have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable consumer protection law gives you a right to bring a claim in your local courts.
