Standard LRC places a timestamp at the start of each lyric line. It tells a compatible player when that line begins. Enhanced LRC also places angle-bracket timestamps inside the line so a compatible karaoke player can follow individual words.

A word timestamp inside square brackets is not the same thing as enhanced LRC. Choose the output your player understands, and preview a short excerpt in that player before preparing a full set of files.

Automatic alignment saves the repetitive work of entering every time by hand. Your listening pass handles what matters in the performance: a soft pickup, a held vowel, a quick run of words or a chorus that enters slightly differently the second time.

Check complete lines first, then individual words. Keep the audio you will actually distribute alongside the LRC: a different intro, edit or recording can shift the whole lyric file.

This app writes LRC times with two decimal places: [00:12.35] means 12 seconds and 350 milliseconds. Both line and enhanced word tags use that 10 ms grid. The file does not preserve every millisecond you may have in the timing data.

Keep the word-level JSON export when you need start and end values rounded to milliseconds. A format's number of decimal places describes its resolution, not how accurately the words were aligned to the singer.

Can I generate LRC from plain lyrics?

You need both the lyric text and the recording. Text alone has no information about when a singer starts a line, holds a note or pauses.

What is the difference between LRC and enhanced LRC?

Standard LRC carries line start times. Enhanced LRC adds word timestamps inside each line for players that support word-by-word highlighting.

Can I edit the LRC timing before downloading?

Yes. Review the automatic draft against the audio, adjust lines and individual words, and export from the timing you have checked.

Will enhanced LRC work in every lyrics player?

No. Word highlighting depends on the player. Test a short file in your target player, and use standard line-timed LRC where enhanced LRC is unsupported.

Can I also export subtitles from the same timing?

Yes. The same lyric timing can be downloaded as SRT, VTT or JSON as well as LRC. Choose the format that fits the destination.

Is this an automatic LRC generator or a manual lyric editor?
